Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has participated in the Vakantiebeurs Tourism Fair 2007 held at the cultural city of Utrecht , The Netherlands, held from 9th – 14 January 2007 .

A press release issued by the NTB said Vakantiebiurs is one of the largest consumer focused travel trade exhibitions in the entire BENELUX region.

Visitors at the fair inquired about the Nepal ’s changed political situation and state of tourism activities during the fair.

“To project the myriad image of Nepal in a distinctive way, Nepal ‘s participation in the fair was focused on the theme of New Tourism Brand: Unleash Yourself…. Naturally Nepal – once is not enough,” the statement added.

A special presentation on Nepal ‘s new brand together with its various tourism attractions was made on 13th January in the tourism Theatre in the Exhibition center.

Five private sector travel trade companies – Eco Trek, Last Frontier Trekking, Village Travel, Nature Trail Trekking and Royal Mt. Trekking participated in the fair.
