Friday’s cabinet meeting has directed the seven party alliance and the Maoists to submit the names of their candidates for the interim legislature by 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
.The ruling seven party alliance and the Maoists have agreed to form interim legislature on Monday after promulgating interim constitution on the same day.
The Maoists and the United Left Front have already selected names for the interim legislature. However, other political parties are yet to finalize the names of members joining the interim legislature.

Minister of State for Information and Communications Dilendra Prasad Badu told a press meet in the capital Friday that the government has already approved a budget for the interim legislature and directed the Ministry of Law and Parliamentary affairs to do the necessary homework.
Likewise, the cabinet has approved 1,993 additional personnel for the Nepal Police besides sanctioning 57.7 million for the reconstruction of destroyed police posts.
Meanwhile, the cabinet has appointed Dr. Dr. Ram Prakash Yadav as Vice Chairman of the Poverty Alleviation fund. Likewise, Komal Prasad Ghimire and Damodar Khadka have been appointed members of the Law Reforms Commission.
The cabinet meeting also decided to accept 1 million dollar grant from the UNICEF for the education for all program.
Similarly the cabinet has formed a 9 member Company Advisory Board under the Secretary of the office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Madhav Prashad Poudel to suggest to the government on timely measures for corporate administration.
The cabinet has also decided to provide a 10 million rupee loan to the ailing Biratnagar Jute Mills.
