Nepal Under-13 national team has left the country, Wednesday, to take part in the AFC U-13 football festival going to be held from May 4-8 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
President of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Ganesh Thapa bid farewell to the 26-member team that includes 22 players, two coaches and two media personnel.
Nepal will compete against South and Central Asian teams in the form of 20 minutes and 60 minutes game including skill tests. The other teams competing in the tournament are India, Pakistan , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka , Afghanistan, Bhutan , Iran, Kyrgyzstan , Maldives, Tajikistan , and Uzbekistan.
The participating Nepali players are: Subi K.C, Suman Shrestha, Kushal Shrestha, Kiran Sinzali, Raju Ale Magar, Samir Limbu, Bishal Baral, Sumip Shrestha, Rupesh KC, Hem Bahadur Tamang, Ganesh Thapa Magar, Asim Tamang, Sulav Maskey, Bikash Kunwar, Bikash Gurung, Bikram Lama, Ram Sharan Rakhal Magar, Ram Thapa, Asim Jung Karki, Kalu Thapa, Shumser Khatri and Laxman Thapa. Kishore KC is the coach and Manish Shrestha is the team manager.
