The Constituent Assembly (CA) has accepted the resignation tendered by a member Mohan Baidya Kiran.

Chairperson of CA, Subas Nemwang read out a letter informing of its decision to accept Kiran’s resignation.

A senior leader of Maoists, Kiran had resigned from the CA stating that he needs to concentrate on party affairs.

He was nominated as a CA member by the Maoists under proportional representation system.
