Nepal Army has again dismissed speculations of military coup in case the government takes action Chief of Army Staff Rookmangud Katawal.

“The rumours of coup and curfew are totally baseless. Nepal Army will not stage coup,” NA spokesperson Brigadier Ramindra Chhettri told Radio Nepal, adding, “NA has always been committed to democratic system and will remain so.”
