Suspected members of Maoist Retaliation Committee (MRC), has murdered two people in Hathihawa village development committee (VDC) of Kapilvastu district on Monday evening.

Those deceased are Rajendra Kurmi of ward number 3 and Keshav Bhar of ward number 7 of the VDC.

Himalkhabar.com quoted police as saying that they were murdered by using sharp weapons, when they are sleeping at their residences.

Though Bhar is affiliated with the Maoists, the reason behind the murder of Kurmi is not known yet.

Though any people or group are yet to take responsibility of the incident, police and Maoists accused involvement of MRC in the incident.

The MRC killed a three-year-old child of Maoist cadre on June 3.

Maoist’s son Majid Barai was stabbed by the MRC.
