The Indian government extended assistance of NRs.13, 278,437 for the construction of campus building with boundary wall at Tribhuvan Campus in Tanahu.
Kheya Bhattacharya, Minister of Economic Cooperation at the Embassy of India laid the foundation stone for construction of the campus building amidst a function on Friday.
A press statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu said 300 students of the campus will directly benefit from the assistance.
“These projects reflect the deepening ties of India-Nepal cooperation, and are examples of India’s continued commitment towards strengthening and diversifying this cooperation in the area of education,” the statement adds.
