The government has formed a 12-member task force headed by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management, Baburam Acharya, to come up with a report on the legal structure, organisational form and programmes for the establishment and operation of the Land Bank.
Following a study of a number of related issues concerning the matter, the 12-member task force will present a preliminary report to the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management within a month, report state run news agency Rastriya Samachar Samiti.
The final report on the matter will be prepared within the next 45 days, according to the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management.
The Legal Officer at the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management is the member-secretary of the 12-member task force.
