The Employees’ Association of Nepal Rastra Bank has decided to stop all the banking transactions of Home Ministry and all the offices under the ministry to pressurize the police to find the whereabouts of Bibek Sharma Luintel, who was abducted form Koteshwore and to take action against culprits.
Holding a press conference in the Capital, Wednesday, they alleged that the Home Administration is giving protection to the person involved in the abduction and asked Home Minister to give direction to Police to immediately find out whereabouts of the abducted boy.
Bibek is the son of central committee member of the Association Bimala Kumari Luintel.
A statement issued by the Association said that the passivity of the police to take action for immediate release of the child even after the relatives handed over the culprits to the police proves that the people involved in the abduction are getting protection from Home Administration.
Two people abducted Bibek on September 9 and handed over it to the Pateni Lama after receiving some money from her. Though police arrested all three involved in the incident, the whereabouts of the child is yet to be found.
