FNCCI has demanded Nepal Rastra Bank also to be supportive in times of difficulties while releasing loans. “Rescheduling and timely release of loans is an urgent need as banks at times hesitate in taking decisions,” the entrepreneurs said.

They also requested the government to support the business sector during such crisis.

In return, PM Koirala assured the team of looking into the matter.

Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat and home minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula were also present on the occasion.

Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat later informed journalists that the government has already initiated dialogue with India to terminate the additional customs duties levied on Nepali products.
