In yet another violation of code of conduct and agreement reached with the seven party alliance, Maoists brutally beat up a cadre of Nepali Congress (Democratic) in the capital.

According to he Kathmandu Post daily, Maoist abducted Prabin Khadka of Bishnu Budanilkantha village development committee 4 from Chu Fan Restaurant at Maharajgunj on Sunday evening and released on Tuesday after beating him mercilessly.

“After abducting me, they hit me with sticks on different parts of body,” Khadka said.

Khadka is undergoing treatment at Medicare hospital Chabbhil.
