The parliamentary party meeting of the MPs of Nepali Congress is underway at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
At the meeting, which started from Thursday morning, the MPs have roundly criticized Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula for failing to maintain law and order in the country.
Sitaula, who is also the coordinator of the government talks team, was criticized for failing to control increasing cases of abductions and extortions by the Maoists.
The meeting was held in order to discuss the ongoing peace process. Prime Minister and president of NC Girija Prasad Koirala briefed the MPs and leaders of his party about the summit meeting to be held in near future.
The meeting was also participated by central committee members of the party.
