In a bid to promote Nepal as a travel destination and appraise German Tour Operators about improved situation in the country, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and PATA Nepal Chapter participated in the ‘PATA Go Before WTM’ organized by the PATA Bavaria Chapter in Munich Germany on Thursday.

A press release issued by the NTB said more than 150 tour operators and travel agents attended the program and held business-to-business sessions with the Nepalese counterparts.

Nandini Lahe Thapa, Director Tourism and Marketing Department made a special destination presentation and briefing on the occasion.

“While expressing enthusiasm about the improved situation in the country and their genuine desire to support Nepal, many expressed concern about the lack of good accessibility and air seat availability from Germany to Nepal,” the release added.

The team will also be participating in the World Travel Mart in London to be held on Monday and Tuesday.
