The Nepali Army today announced to dismiss two junior personnel from the military service, convicting them for violation of army regulations and discipline.
A ‘summary general military court’ announced to dismiss Jamdar Madan Singh Ari and soldier Bhoj Bahadur Gurung from the military service, declaring them unfit for any government service in future, for physically fighting with the policemen, who were on duty at the Benighat security base, Dhading district, on June 28 this year.
A statement issued by the Directorate of Public Relations (DPR) of the Nepali Army said the military court also slapped 5 months and 4 months jail sentences to Ari and Gurung respectively.
