One passenger was killed and over 30 others were injured when a bus carrying Maoist cadres met with an accident at Ghasikuwa area of the western district of Tanahun, Sunday afternoon.

The Na-2-Kha 3651 bus heading for Nepalgunj from Pokhara fell nearly 30 meters down the road, killing a Maoist cadre named Sanjay, according to reports.

The Maoists were returning after a training program at a village in Kaski district, reports added.
