Election Comissioners Jayram Singh Bohara, Damaru Ballav Bhattrai and Dil Bahadur Karki resigned from their posts on Monday.

According to reports, Bohara and Karki reached the Election Commission office to submit their resignations but Bhattrai had sent his resignation from the US.

The resignations of CEC Rajbhandari and others came as the parliamentarians affiliated to ruling seven political parties warned to file impeachment motion against them if they did not resign from their posts.
