A Japan based NGO, NPO Green Solution Japan, has handed over food items to the children of a child development center located in Khadka Bhadrakali VDC in Kathmandu district.
The NGO also organised a sapling plantation programme in the child development center and Dhara lower secondary school in Puranchaur VDC in Kaski district to mark the 50 th anniversary of the Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations. More than 500 saplings were planted on the occasion.

Speaking at the programme to hand over food items to the child development center, where street children and those without parents live, president of the NGO Teizo Shinohara said his organization has been helping in promoting educational and environmental standards in Nepal for the past few years. “This would increase knowledge of environment conservation among the children,” he further said.

The NGO works for promotion of greenery and quality education.
