NTSC fails to break jinx; NSJF successful in organizing charity match

Two late goals from Raj Kumar Ghising poured cold water over the dreams of Nabil Three Star Club (NTSC) of beating Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) at Dashrath Stadium in the charity match organised by the Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) today.

The crowd was groovy and the environment was electrifying. More than 7,000 Nepalese football lovers paid homage to the 18 journalists killed and proved that they are with beautiful game all the time.

The two late goals from Raj Kumar Ghising put nail on NTSC’s coffin and also got called from ANFA boss to attend in SAG camp. Anjan KC from NTSC and Raj Kumar Ghising from MMC were declared Man of the match jointly and received free dining offers from Banchha Ghar.

The money collected will be divided into four parts; NSJF, NTSC, MMC, and welfare fund of FNJ. The NSJF will declare the collected amount very soon, NSJF President Niranjan Rajbansi told Nepalnews.

Two daughters of late Journalist Dekendra Thapa; Nutan and Nisha along with ANFA President Ganesh Thapa, FNJ President Bishnu Nisthuri and IGP of Police Om Bikram Rana gave away the prizes. In the meantime, team manager of MMC Bujhung Ghale contributed Rs. 3,000 to both Nisha and Nutan in honor of their late father.

In the meantime, NSJF President Niranjan Rajbanshi thanked all for the successful charity match on the behalf of the NSJF family. n
