The Prabasi Nepali service committee Saudi Arabia has submitted a 27-point memorandum to the Nepal government to make the foreign employment sector systematic and dignified.

A press statement issued by the committee condemned the decision of the government to allow Nepali women for foreign employment in domestic sectors in gulf countries.

The statement said, “As many women were subject to domestic violence and spending a painful time, rather than calling back women workers home, the government’s decision to allow women for foreign employment is condemnable.”

The statement further said that the government failed to bring a concrete plan for the upliftment of foreign employment sector.

The 27-point recommendation asked the government to make the foreign employment sector systematic and provisions for the welfare of Nepali foreign job seekers.
