The second global conference of Non-Resident Nepalis (NRN) is scheduled to be held in the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, in October.

According to the statement issued by the Nepalese Americas Council (NAC), the conference will take place from October 7 to 9 and that some 500 Nepalis currently living abroad are expected to take part in it.

The first global conference of the NRN was also held in Kathmandu in 2003. The first conference had entrusted Federation of Nepalese of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), umbrella organization of Nepali business community, the role to coordinate the second conference.
