The relatives of people who have gone missing since their arrest by the security forces have begun a hunger strike on Monday. They are demanding to know the situation and whereabouts of their kin. This hunger strike was announced during a press conference on Monday.

Earlier, more than 80 people had staged a weeklong relay hunger-strike in Bhadrakali demanding information about their relatives.

Some members of the group met the prime minister last Monday and asked him to disclose something.
