Two Passes Between Nepal, Tibet to be Opened

Kathmandu,Aug.27: China has agreed to open two more border passes between Nepal and Tibet to felicitate cross-border trade, Foreign Minister Chakra Prasad Bastola said Sunday.

Officials will work out the details later, Bastola said.

Khimathanka in Solokhumbu and Liji in Mustang will be opened, he said.

” Chinese leaders are happy with the present state of bilateral ties,” he said.

Bastola returning home Sunday from China where he had gone for bilateral talks with Chinese leaders to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
