Kathmandu,Aug.28: Two persons, including a child, were killed  and 17 others were injured in two separate vehicular accidents Sunday, police said. A five-year-old child died and 10 others were injured when a bus commuting between Lamgunj and Pokhara met with an accident in Jamune in Tanahu district at 10 AM Sunday, police said. Raju Thapa died at Gandaki Hospital.

Similarly, truck driver Prem Lama died on the spot and 10 others were injured when the vehicle he was driving to Butwal from Palpa fell 25 metres off the highway near Dovan in Palpa district Sunday.

The truck was laden with fertilizers.
