Dragon Air to Resume Flights

Kathmandu,Aug.28: Dragon Air will resume flights to Kathmandu from Hong Kong in the last week of October or early November, the Hotel Association of Nepal and the Airline’s Nepal representative said Monday. The flights were suspended in 1992 following differences between the Airlines and the Nepali government.

The flights will be operated by Airbuses. “The operations will start in the last week of October or early November. Other details are being worked out,” Paras Diwan, Executive Administrative Chief of Zenith Travels, the Airline’s Nepal representative said. Royal Nepal Airlines is the only carrier now operating direct flights between Kathandu and Hong Kong.
