Kathmandu, Aug.15: Kala-Azar has killed 20 persons in Dulari village in Morang district, health officials said Tuesday.

Traces of the disease have also been reported from Kadamaha village and some sections of Biratnagar, district health officials said.

Kala-Azar is a severe infectious disease marked by fever, progressive anaemia, leukopenia and enlargement of the spleen and liver.
