Kathmandu, Jan. 29:DSL Australia today said that the preparations of The Himalayan Expo 2000 to be held in Melbourne from March 28 to April 1 were going on the full swing.
The one country show will have 45 stalls and exhibit Nepalese goods on handicraft, traditional readymade garment, hand-knotted woollen carpets, woollen sweaters, pashmina shawls, thanka paintings, jewellery, herbs and paper products.
Expected to be visited by 20-30 thousand people, the expo will help extend the business relations between Nepalese and Australian entrepreneurs and promote trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, DSL’s Managing Director Devendra Karki told the exhibitors here today afternoon.
Karki said that arrangements were made to make sure that the exhibitors would not face difficulties as the participants.
