Bhadrapur, Feb. 25: Member of the CPN-ML Standing Committee Chandra Prakash Mainali inaugurated the 14th district conference of the all Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) Jhapa in Dhulabari recently.

A total of 300 persons including observers and representatives are taking part in the two-day conference.

On the occasion, Mainali said students should fight for the rights and interests of the people.

Members of the party central committee Naresh Kharel and Man Kumar Gautam and  FNCCI central secretary Krishna KC also expressed their views at the function chaired by conference convenor Nirmani Baral.

Meanwhile in Arghakhanchi,  the second national general convention of Nepal Kumal Society Reforms Committee began here recently.

DDC chairman Pitambar Bhusal declared open the general convention amid a function participated in by a large number of people from the local Kumal Community.

Representative of the Tharu Welfare Society Bhakta Bahadur Chaudhari, general secretary of the Kumal Society Bagbir Kumal, former president of the Society Surya Bahadur Kumal, former Vice-President Ananta Bahadur Kumal and others addressed the general convention.

Altogether 350 representatives from 41 districts throughout the country are attending the 3-day conference.
