Tamrakar stresses spirituality

Kathmandu, Mar. 4: Minister for Commerce Ram Krishna Tamrakar inaugurated a week long programme organised by Brahma Kumari Raj Yog Service Centre on the occasion of Mahashivaratri by hoisting a Shiva flag.

On the occasion, Minister Tamrakar said that in the absense of spirituality the government and the politicians could not act for the betterement of society.

Member of the Raj Parishad Gajananda Agrawal noted that it is the duty of mankind to avoid bad and pursue pious deeds.

Judge at the apellate court Keshav Prasad Mainali observed that  the divinity of the almighty can be perceived only through clear vision.

During the function presided over by chairman of the centre Bramhma Kumari Raj Didi, other speakers including former state minister Aiswarya Lal Pradhananga also expressed their views.

It was informed at the function that the Prajapita Brahakumari Iswariya University has launched a variety of programmes today to convey the message about the importance and holiness of Mahashivaratri to people through its five thousand centres all over the world.
