Crown Prince’s birthday observed in Moscow

Kathmandu, June 29: A programme was organised at the hall of Royal Nepalese Embassy in Moscow to mark the 30th auspicious birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.

Speaking on the occasion, Russian Ambassador to Nepal Vladimir Ivanov expressed his happy feelings about the personality of HRH the Crown Prince which he enjoyed with his audience with HRH the Crown Prince. Ambassador Ivanov said that the Crown Prince takes great interest to the development of mutual cooperation and friendship between Russia and Nepal.

The former minister of Labour and Social Development of Russian Federation Sergei Kalasnikov expressed gratitude to the organisers of the programme held to mark the auspicious birthday. Such functions, Kalasnikov said, will be meaningful in strengthening and promoting friendship between Russia and Nepal.

Deputy vice president of Roszarubezh Centre Vladimir Korolev extended hearty congratulations to HRH the Crown Prince and threw light on HRH’s personality.

Representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Valery Nazarov said that democracy and market economy are two fundamental principles for development of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.

Charge d’ affairs of the Royal Nepalese Embassy in Moscow Ganesh Prasad Dhakal expressed gratitude to Russia-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organising the programme to mark the auspicious birthday.

President of Russia-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and chairman of the Birthday Ceremony Organising Committee Dr. Upendra Mahato said: “RNCCI feels honoured to celebrate the auspicious birthday of HRH the Crown Prince who always thinks about the prosperity of Nepal and the Nepalese.”

President of Russia-Nepal Friendship and Cooperation Society shed light on Nepal-Russia friendly ties.

It is to be noted that a birthday ceremony organising committee consisting of 17 members headed by RNCCI president Dr Mahato was formed in Moscow to celebrate the 30th auspicious birthday of HRH the Crown Prince.
