Nepal destination in int’l magazine

Kathmandu, June 14:The New Delhi-based Global News Network, the flagship that brings out a tourism-related magazine, Outbound, has come out with an international traveller’s magazine in both the print and electronic media.

The magazine, according to Anil Sharma, the publisher-cum-managing director of the Global News Network, contains information of all tourist destinations, including that of Nepal and its various tourist sites as well as other details that could be of interest to potential Nepal visitors.

The magazine is available in video cassettes, CDs (compact disc) as well as on website, said Anil Sharma. The CD is an interactive compact disc where travellers and tourists alike can read the information while at the same time see the tourist sights, accomodation facilities, restaurants etc. and listen to their details.

In the website, those interested in visiting Nepal can use the search engine for information pertaining to, among others, hotels as per category and price, shopping/bargain outlets, restaurants according to one’s choice of cuisine to airline booking, tours, customs and visa formalities and package tours.

The CD magazine, as per Anil Sharma, is available on website as shockwave and non-shockwave with real video that contains information that travellers/tourists could use to plan their trips.

The print magazine, video cassettes, CDs would soon be distributed to all travel and tour agents all over the world and who are selling Nepal as a tourist destination in their respective countries and cities, said Anil.
