Gaur, June 11 : Main opposition leader and CPN-UML general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has pointed out the need for all political party leaders and workers to unite in development and construction works of the country.

Inaugurating the new annex building of the lower secondary school in Madhipur VDC of Rautahat district today, Mr. Nepal said the people’s representatives should work in pursuance to the aspirations of the people and never cheat them.

School headmaster Rama-shree Prasad, VDC chairman Rammali Yadav and other speakers also expressed their views at the programme chaired by Naga Thakur.

The building was completed at a cost of Rs. 2,000,000 with the joint investment of Plan International Rautahat and the school.

On the occasion general secretary Nepal also announced a financial assistance of Rs. 100,000 to the school from his MP fund.

Also today, general secretary Nepal inaugurated the new hostel building of the secondary school in Khesariya VDC of the district.

On the occasion Mr Nepal also announced a financial assistance Rs. 100,000 for running 10+2 classes in the school.

The hostel was completed at a cost of Rs. 140,000 with the joint cooperation of the school and VDC fund. Mr Nepal also inaugurated the hostel of Saraswati Secondary School in Kesarhiya VDC of the district.
