Joshi grieved, flays killing of police personnel

Kathmandu, June 10: Minister for Home Govinda Raj Joshi has expressed sadness over the death of 12 police personnel including police inspector Navaraj Pokharel and 5 children in a bomb attack resorted to by terrorists during a clash at the Ilaka police post at Jajarkot Panchkante.

In a statement, he said “we cannot forget the contribution made by the police personnel including a police inspector and ordinary citizens who laid down their lives for the sake of the nation. The sacrifice of life made by them will not go to waste but will remain unforgettable for ever.”

The Minister for Home wished eternal peace to the departed souls and a speedy recovery for the injured.
