Kathmandu, June 1: Today sees the first amateur players teeing off in ‘’Robin’s Golden Jubilee Golf.’’ The event for professionals was held on 16 and 17 May.

A unique ‘Cross-country;’ layout places demands on the competitors as they play the course in almost reverse direction.

The competition is being a sponsore by Robin Marston celebrating 50 years of playing golf, and the Summit hotel also celebrating its own 20th Anniversary 1980-2000.

The tournament finishes Sat 3 Jun and will be followed by prize giving and a reception and BBO for competitors.

Star Prizes for the lucky winner-an engraved trophy plus a return Kathmandu-Amsterdam-Kathmandu ticket presented by Transavia Airlines, with 16 other prizes for every different category possible-including a special welcome for our ‘super-senior’ division-all golfers over the age of 70.
