People’s welfare law stressed

Tribhuvannagar, May 27: Minister of State for Agriculture and Cooperatives Baldev Sharma Majgainya has stressed the need for everyone from the top to bottom to formulate laws and regulations for the welfare of the people taking into consideration the need to amend laws and regulations in the past ten years.

Minister of State Majgainya made this remark while inaugurating the oreintation programme on the rules and regulations of the Self Governance Act-2055 B.S. here other day.

At the two-day orientation programme organised jointly by the Ministry of Local Development, Local Development Training Academy and the district development committee, instructors Madhusudan Upadhyaya and Uttam Shrestha will impart training.

The orientation programme is being attended by the officials of the district offices.

The inaugural function chaired by DDC chairman Bharat k.c.

Likewise, Majgainya laid the foundation stone for a cremation site on the banks of katuwa rivulet of tribhuwan Municipality recently.

On the occasion, Majgainya said that all should extend co-operation for social works.

Cremation site construction committee co-ordinator Ram Dayal Gupta chaired the function at which Tribhuvannagar Mayor Amar Bahadur Dangi informed that the cremation site would be completed at an outlay of about Rs 1 million.
