Kathmandu, May 10 A delegation of Nepalese businessmen led by the president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) Rajesh Kaji Shrestha met the ambassador of China to Napal, Xeng Xuang and discussed about further enhancement of trade between two countries.
During the meeting ambassador Xuang expressed the view that business communities of both the nations should be able to reap benefit by enhancing the volume of trade.
It would promote tourism if the private airlines in Nepal make efforts to extend their services to Beijing, ambassador Xeng said.
While exchanging the view, NCC president Shrestha stressed the need of enhancement of Chinese investment and technology and said there should be a provision of exporting goods from Nepal into the autonomous region of China.
Shrestha also stressed the need of trade fair and exchange the frequent visit of business delegation from both the nations. NCC president also pointed out the need of direct air linkage between Kathmandu and Beijing.
The member of the business delegation were Surendra Bir Malakar, Suresh Kumar Basnet and Bhakata Bahadur Mall, according to NCC press release.
