Kathmandu, Oct.16: The Bank of Kathmandu recorded a pre-tax profit of Rs.140 in the last fiscal year ending July 15, management said.
The Bank announced a 30 percent dividend to its shareholders also. The Bank has decided to issue right shares to increase capitalization to Rs.500 million as per the orders of the Nepal Rashtra Bank.
The Bank of Siam withdrew from the joint venture Bank two years ago amid dispute between Nepali promoters who later handed over the management to a group led by Dr. Thakur Nath Panta.
