Itahari, May 6: A day-long road painting workshop entitled “Nepalese art in the 21st century” was organised in Dharan Friday with the objective encouraging deviant youths in society towards creative activities.

Mayor of Dharan Municipality Manoj Kumar Myangmo inaugurated the 700-metre long road painting workshop organised by Sunsari Fine Arts Academy.

On the occasion, Mayor Myangmo said that the painting workshop would encourage the youths who have deviated from normal society to realise their latent talents.

Landscape painting in abstract and concrete art form and scenery were painted by various artists including school children from 16 schools from Dharan area and journalists.
