Six killed in bomb blast

KATHMANDU: Six persons were killed overnight in a powerful blast at Tuslipur in Dang which is a hotbed of violent Maoist insurgency police said. The house which was flattened by the powerful blast belonged to Bhagwati Chaudhary.

Five people of the same family were killed while the identify of the sixth person killed in the explosion was not known. It is not known who set off the blast.

Soldiers gunned down several Maoists in the municipality where night curfew had been slapped for several days after the emergency was slapped last month to contain terrorism.
