What would the people think when police and army, both responsible for maintaining law and order fight among themselves. That is what happened in Kailali last week. Last Wednesday night, several army personnel deputed in Royal Bardiya National Park crossed the Karnali bridge, drank alcohol in Chisapani and created disturbance. When the police tried to convince them, they attacked the police and beat them up. They also looted a rifle and five rounds of ammunition from the police.
