Helicopter and small airlines have been used to smuggle out herbs, including the banned herbs, from the remote hill and mountains of the country. By doing so they are not only cheating the revenue but also violating the law.

Smugglers have followed various measures including calling for helicopter in the name of sick persons. According to news a big group of smuggler is active in Humla, Jumla, Mugu and Kalikot to smuggle such herbs from those places. Although the police has increased its activities they has failed to nab those smugglers so far.
