The 93rd birth anniversary of one of the founding members of Nepali Congress BP Koirala was celebrated in London on September 9.
BP Koirala was the first elected Prime Minister of the country.
A large number of Nepali people residing in London had participated in the program.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Ramesh Dhungel said that late Koirala was not only a socialist leader of Nepal but of the whole South Asia.
International Coordinator of Non Resident Nepali (NRN) Chiranjivi Dhakal said that the thoughts of late Koirala are very popular and relevant in the present context as well.
Senior journalist Khagendra Nepali said that he is producing an audio book about the autobiography of late BP Koirala in coordination with the Jagadumba press to give information to many people about the popular leader BP Koirala.
Other speakers of the programme also talked about the personality of BP Koirala on the occasion.
