68 killed, two missing in landslides and floods

Floods and landslides have killed more people this year compared to the  same period last year since the annual monsoon  began in June, a Home Ministry source said.

Sixty-eight persons have been killed and two others are missing in  mudslides and floods, the official said. The monsoon generally lasts for four months from June to September.

Damage is estimated at Rs.70 million.
