Kathmandu, Nov.10: At least 15 persons have died and another 300 persons have been affected by an untracked disease in several villages in Jajarkot district in recent weeks, daily newspaper Spacetime Dainik said in its Friday editions quoting local politicians.
Ten persons have died in Sahama and five others in Chuhadeauli villages until Thursday, the newspaper said quoting Kali Bahadur Khadka, village chief of Sahama. Fever, nausea and coughing are symptoms of the disease, the newspaper said. Health workers have not reached the affected villages in west Nepal so far.
