Maoist peace negotiator Matrika Prasad Yadav  has been elected Chairman of the Terai Mukti Morcha  affiliated with the NCP (Maoists), a statement issued Wednesday said.

Yadav was elected by the Morcha’s or  Front’s second national assembly inaugurated by rebel strongman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The meeting was reportedly held somewhere is Sarlahi.
