Birendra Bahadur Deuja has been appointed secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, official sources said. He succeeds Barun Prasad Shrestha who was superannuated.

Similarly, Ananta Raj Pandey has been appointed Secretary at the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management. He succeeds Kesharaj Rajbhandari who was transferred to the Home Ministry.
