Two policemen injured in Maoist ambush

Two policemen were injured and nine others escaped unhurt when Maoists ambushed a jeep in which they were  traveling at Fairline village near Butwal Friday, police said.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital. The ambushed jeep was badly damaged. Security forces have launched a manhunt for the rebels who fled into a nearby jungle.
