Leader of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP), Hridesh Tripathi, 41, was rushed to the Norvic Hospital in the capital Sunday morning where he was immediately operated upon, hospital sources said.
The Hospital specializes in treating heart patients. Health Minister and noted neurosurgeon Dr. Upendra Debkota operated upon Tripathi. The nature of his illness was not disclosed.
Tripathi was recently stripped of the Party’s central committee membership and general secretary. The NSP was the third largest Party in the dissolved parliament.
