Three endangered rhinos died in the Royal Chitwan National Park recently, wildlife officials said. A rhino injured in a vehicular accident died while undergoing treatment Sunday.

Two other rhinos sank in a quagmire by the banks of the Rapti river and died, officials said. Guards recently shot dead six poachers in the protected forest.
