Their Majesties King Gyanendra and Queen Komal offered prayers at the Alam Devi temple, one of the famous shrines of Goddess Durga in Syanjha district this morning.

Chief District Officer of Syanjha district, chiefs of the security agencies and priest of the temple welcomed their Majesties at the temple upon their arrival.

Their Majesties are currently in the Western region in course of their unofficial visit to Western Development Region to access the situation there.

Their Majesties left Kathmandu on Tuesday. Their Majesties visited Baglung, the zonal headquarter of the Dhaulagiri zone on Wednesday and Butwal, the zonal headquarter of the Lumbini Zone on Thursday.
