Sonu Poudel, a student of Xavier International College bagged the crown of Lux Supermodel held at Soaltee Crowne Plaza on Friday.

“I’ve no words to describe how happy I am to win this mega model title,” Sonu said after being crowned.

“Had Unilever Nepal Limited not provided me this opportunity I wouldn’t have received this grand success,” she added.

She was selected among the 20 elegant models.

Talking more about the competition, Ritu Singh Baidya, Miss India-1991 opined, “The competition undeniably was very competitive. The models presented themselves in the best ways they could. And since only one could win the title, Sonu certainly deserved it.”

Similarly, Kalpana Shahi and Kelsang Youdon Lama were adjudged the first and second runners-up respectively. The winners were awarded cash prize worth Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively.

Besides, Swornima Rajbhandari, Kelsang Lama and Sonu Paudel and Dipa Shakya were declared the Close-up Miss Sassy Smile, Close-up Miss Photogenic, Lux Dancing Queen and Sunsilk Miss Beautiful Hair a few days ago.
